Introduction

Thank you for your interest in my story of mixing.

For a couple of years I like to mix. For me mixing is a form of art, like painting for a painter.
Most of my mixes reflects the state of mine in that particular time of life, so mixing is also a perfect method to express my feelings and mood.

My first introduction to mixing was on a Amiga500 (thanks to Streep29, who’s been already a number of years my brother-in-law, learned a lot from him, thanks buddy! :D)
In that time I used the program Octalizer, an eight-track sequencer, which you could mix short music-samples. Later, I built my own homestudio around it with turntables, mixer, CD players, tape decks, etc.. With this I made non-stop tapes for radiostations in the region.

After a while I tried a Revox tape-recorder (again, thanks to Streep29) and started do mixing by cut and paste tape.

For now I don’t use that kind of stuf anymore, I only use 1 PC with Acid Pro for mixing and can do a lot more things with a lot more ease than before :D

Oh yeah, before I forgot, in times that it is easy to download your music from the net, I buy my music that I mix, so that the artists behind the tracks I use in my mixes, can continue to make there music.
So if you like my mixes, I urge you to do the same! :)

You can buy the music I use at: Dance-Tunes.com
